Scaravelli Intensive
An opportunity to explore the approach of Vanda Scaravelli. The intensive includes practical asana work with a number of respected teachers in classes and workshops, and some theoretical work in the form of theory workshops and essay writing. The 'intensive" aims to give you an understanding of how to approach your own practice according to Scaravelli principles as well as an understanding of the "principles" behind this work. The intensive is open to yoga practitioners with an interest in Scaravelli yoga and to teacher trainees. The module is suitable for those who wish to experience the subtlety of this approach as a means to integrate this method into their practice or teaching. As there is no formal "Scaravelli" teacher training available this is an opportunity to start to absorb these teachings- on a path that will take you along your own journey.
The intensive is accredited by Yoga Alliance for those on the BCY Diploma (500 hour) course and can be used as one of the 2 essential intensives for this course by trainees on either the 2010 or 2011 Diploma intake.

''The sessions were great - very useful to embed the knowledge i've gained from attending Caroline's classes for several months. It was good to be able to step back and discuss what we had found in practicing. Jess was also great, she talked through the Scaravelli principles and allowed us to discuss our views and needs for the session'' Vicki, Intensive student 2011
