Retreat Apprenticeship

Exclusive to BCY, the Retreat Apprenticeship Programme offers the opportunity for every diploma level student a unique opportunity to become involved in planning and teaching on a yoga retreat. You will learn how to organize and run a retreat and be required to review the week and your experiences in writing. The apprentice will meet their own costs, but not pay the full retreat fee.

In preparation for the retreat you will receive detailed instructions on the whole project management of a retreat. As your course assignment you will be required to assist each step of the way in the preparation of the retreat: producing leaflets, online marketing, dealing with enquiries etc. 

As an apprentice on retreat you will be expected to "hold the space" alongside the teacher and to assist throughout the week in teaching and any practical concerns. 

Next Course Dates: See retreat page for details of retreats currently on offer. The apprentice will typically pay the retreat fee minus £200. Each retreat will be open to a max. of two apprentices. 

This section of the course is accredited by Yoga Alliance and counts toward certification at the 500-hour level.
