Restorative Yoga is nurturing and healing appropriate for those who wish to slow down and deepen their experience of poses. Class is suitable for beginners, pregnant women and advanced practitioners alike, restorative yoga aims to restore energy and vitality to the system.

In a calm, supportive environment, we practice poses designed to restore the flow of energy and to gently open and release, bringing softness, clarity and ease into the body and the mind. Poses are practised slowly, using a variety of props and support: relieving the effort of using muscle-energy allows the student to focus more fully on feeling and opening up to the form and benefits of each pose. We work closely with the breath, learning to harness the breath and to use it as a tool to regenerate both the physical and the energy body.
