For the last 10 years Jamus has drawn strength, release and balance into his life through the practice of yoga, dance and spiritual inquiry. Jamus, inspired by the teachings of Donna Farhi's evolutionary work, has integrated and created a down to earth understanding of yoga asana and the workings of our awareness. ‘Wholeness’ and the ‘Instinctual Body’ are the under lining principle of his work.

In 2008 Jamus  completed an advanced teacher training with the international presenter Donna Farhi. Author of Yoga Mind, Body and Spirit and the Breathing Book. Since then Jamus  has continued to study and assist her.

Somatic Hatha is an integrated approach to the harmonious development of body and mind, based on traditional yogic principles. Yoga isn’t just a
physical practice. It develops both a mental stillness and a greater emotional capability.  This class will look at focusing on the breath as a means to move the body in its natural flow. An organic way into a practice that strengthens the core and creates strength within flexibility. In this class we will flow from one asana to another, encouraging the muscles to lengthen and discovering space in the joints.
This class can benefit every-"body" regardless of age and/or limitation from a beginner to more experienced practitioners.
