Teenagers Class

Yoga for budding young yogis and yoginis from age 13+. This class gives young people the chance to explore yoga in their own time amongst their friends. Each session will work with postures, breath work for de-stressing and relaxation. Yoga is proven to help balance the endocrine (hormone) system so helping young people acclimatise to the changes going on in their bodies. The physical practices help  young people to feel comfortable and confident in their own skin. The breath work and relaxation practices give a chance to tune into themselves and switch off from the pressures of school and life in general.  Postures will also be taught to help support times of mensturation and to help with discomfort during menstruation. 

The classes are taught in an accessible and friendly way with time for sharing feelings/ events from the week.

Laura Gilmore is teaching this class for young people, she is able to share the yoga in an honest and accessible way to help young people through one of lifes most tricky periods. Having suffered from depression in her own teens,  Laura has a genuine passion in sharing the practices with young people. She believes it is through her practice of yoga from her own teens thats she has been able to become the grounded and contented person she is today!
